I live in and around my bike shop. Up to this fall my bike was worth more than either of my cars. I have always loved being on or around bikes. Growing up in urban Chicagoland my freedom was found on a bike, and that taste of freedom led me away from the city and into the woods. For the last eighteen years now I have lived in Rochester, a rural Vermont mountain village in which I have found my preferred balance of quick access to the woods and a steady flow of interesting people, and bicycles through my life.
